Wicksteed Park’s Double Pirate Ship survived
The ride operated at Wicksteed Park until the end of the 2016 season. Evidence gathered during a 2026 investigation traced it to Lunapark Aseba in Mitrovica, Kosovo, where both gondolas and the shared twin-tower structure survive, reconstructed and operating again.
Direct contact with the ride’s operator in July 2026 confirmed it remains open and operating there today. Its exact route from Kettering to Kosovo remains an open question. See the Evidence Room and Current Status for the full picture.
